This is the debut concert of a new piano series here at Sundin Music Hall featuring some of the finest pianists we know around here. This season will feature three concerts with Anton Melnichenko, Denis Evstyuhin and this first concert by Ivan Konev. Ivan has a new cd coming out, and we'll hear some of the music from it by John Corigliano, Igor Yakushenko, Valentin Silvestrov and others - all played in his graceful, virtuosic style. TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR THIS EVENING - GENERAL ADMISSION IS $15 FOR ADULTS, $8 FOR STUDENTS AND FREE TO CURRENT HU STAFF, FACULTY AND STUDENTS.
